房地产经营中的人和事(八)-我的装修工死于新冠肺炎
我有个Handyman，叫Rick, 是墨西哥裔，今年62岁，体格强壮，看起来比实际年龄小很多。他为人实在，手巧，干活快而利索，我们很喜欢找他来干装修活。他平时极少生病，不幸的是今年6月底却死于了新冠肺炎。
今年5月底我们一房客搬走, Rick 帮我们干了一个星期装修，那时新冠肺炎已经风风火火在美国流行，虽然卫生部门一再强调戴口罩，洗手及保持距离等措施，但Rick一点也不在乎，刚来干活的时候连口罩都没有，被我要求后，从车里拉了一块布盖上嘴巴和鼻子，我给了他一些口罩，并要求他在现场每天都要戴口罩，前一两天还听话，后面他就根本不戴了。闲聊中还振振有词告诉我，他根本不相信有什么病毒，防护那个，禁止那个，但为什么不禁止钱的使用？钱是跟每个人接触最多的东西。在干活的那几天，他的一切都完全正常，根本没想到他会感染新冠病毒。到六月底，我们另外一个房子又要装修，给他电话，留言，短信，可怎么也联系不上，以前只要给他留言，一小时之内他肯定会回复。我去找他的朋友John，John是我们的园丁，他告诉我，Rick已经在三天前因新冠肺炎过世了，并感慨道，他也太不在乎这个流行病了，跟人接触一点防护措施也没有，结果是那么叫人伤心啊。
回过头来看看，我觉得自己算是幸运，没有被传染。五月底帮我们装修的时候，Rick可能已经是在潜伏期了， 那几天我和他是在一种较密切接触的状况，经常面对面讨论装修的事，好在我很小心，在室内我自始至终戴口罩，与他说话时，一但距离太近，我会立刻要求他离我远点，另外是摸任何东西我都戴手套，随后立刻洗手。
美国的新冠流行一直处在高峰期，几个月了发病率和死亡率都居高不下，究其原因，如某州长所言，我们美国自私的人太多了。美国有些人号称Freedom To Breath，一直拒绝戴口罩，更可恶的是个别教堂，二，三千人聚集在一起，没有什么防护措施，政府给了限制令，还扬言要打宪法官司，想问的是你的自由重要，人家的生命就不重要吗？事实是教堂并不是Invincible，美国新冠肺炎最年轻7岁死者就是在教堂感染的。回到Rick这个病例，Rick的死就是一种无谓的牺牲，也许简单戴上了口罩就可避免。园丁John上个星期帮我们一家公寓除草，剪树，自始至终戴着口罩，告诉我，以前对新冠防护很随便，现在一定要注意，为自己，也为家人。Rick的死是个教训，只是这个教训的代价太大了。
Rick的死让我有些感慨，更感觉生命的无常和无奈，昨天一个活生生的人，今天就可能无端地消失了，能活着就是一种幸福，珍惜活着的每一天吧。

I wear size 8 shoe -orderd size 8 -normal width .I m 5'7" -130 lbs . They fit perfect . Little snug at first as are all new shoes . Hope this helps with concerning ordering a size larger issue .

One thing about Nike is their sizes are always really close. Very comfortable shoes. Bought a cheapy pair of shoes in between last Nikes and latest Nikes and it is true that you get what you pay for at least when dealing with Nike.

These are way better then I expected. The seller was very easy to work with and very understanding. We had some issues with shipping which is not the sellers fault. The seller sent out another pair ASAP. And let me tell you this is the most legit pair of the air pods I could have gotten All the labels and packaging was perfect! I love the shoes. My only issue is that after walking in them, my pinky toe and side of my big toe were red from being rubbed by the shoe. But I am happy with my purchase. I was concerned at first because shipping took waaaaay longer than anything else that I’ve ever ordered. I just got the shoe 3 days ago but ordered back in June… it’s August now.

This is a Real review just take your time and find a better seller his Communication was very bad , He sent me a tracking number from day one that didn’t work and for 2 weeks I ask for the correct one all he told me was it’s normal and my package wasn’t receive I showed him all my proof and he said I can’t help u then offer me 0.01 cent so told me show them my proof and I just went a head and let my bank handle it cause that’s not right y’all. Super nice adidas nmd’s. Love them! Just some tiny imperfections but you won’t see them if you look for them (little extra glue, adidas logo not perfect but as I said, you won’t notice it that much. They fit perfect and I’m 10.5. Now let’s see how long they last. Will buy again from this seller.
